Today has marked the beginning of that lovely task of wedding planning. I think that the moments you share with your significant other planning your special day, only brings you closer together. I felt so blessed that Bess and I were able to share ideas and begin to put together the first day of the rest of our lives.
Today began with touring and visiting the first Ceremony and Reception site that we have marked as a favorite. The venue is Belltower Chapel and Garden in Fort Worth, Texas. The lovely building houses a chapel and an indoor reception room.
From the moment that Bess and I pulled into the drive way our hearts dropped. We fell in love. Yes, it is the first place we went, but when it comes to things like this it just has to click. It made us grin from ear to ear to think that this place could be it! I wish I had more words to say how much it touched us, but it was love at first sight.
Now, I know what everyone is eager to hear and that is the wedding date. Well, Bess and I have decided to do something a little different than most couples. In the next month, Bess and I will invited friends and family to an Engagement Celebration. On that day we will announce the date of our wedding. We want everyone to know that it is killing us not share even the possible dates because well, we are thrilled out of our minds too! Trust me though, it will be worth the wait.
So following the lovely morning, I began the task of wedding dress shopping. Let me tell you, the task is fun, exciting and overwhelming. let's just say I made an appointment because this could quite possibly be a little too much! I mean how is anyone supposed to pick a dress? I mean I am picky about my jeans, how in the world am I going to manage this? Well, I am sure that I am going to figure it out, right? :) I am just happy to know that the person I love more than anything loves me back. I know she will think any dress is beautiful, at least that lowers the stress.
I am so happy that we are able to share our life with everyone out there!
